BSB MONDELLO PARK Round 6 17/06/07 Jonathan Rea took his HM Plant Honda to pole position at his 'home' circuit of Mondello Park. He was joined on the front row of the grid by team mate Ryuichi Kiyonari, Leon Haslam (Airwaves Ducati) and first timer on the front row, Karl Harris on the Hydrex Honda. Harris was down in 6th, with Chris Walker (Rizla Suzuki) in 5th place. By half distance Byrne had moved up into 3rd place, and into 2nd place by lap 11, which is where he finished. Gregorio Lavilla (Airwaves Ducati) had been quietly picking up places to join Haslam and Byrne on the podium in 3rd place. Rea finished 4th, with Kiyonari 5th and Harris 6th. Rea
got the early lead in race 2, followed by Haslam and Byrne. Byrne
