Gregorio Lavilla (Airwaves Ducati) was in a class of his own at Thruxton, taking his first double win of the season. As usual he didn't make the best of starts from the front row of the grid, but he was soon in the lead in race 1, where he pulled away to win by over 4 seconds from his team mate Leon Haslam. Ryuichi Kiyonari (HM Plant Honda) finished 3rd with the Red Bull Honda of Jonathan Rea in 4th place. In race 2
Lavilla was down in about 6th at the start, but once again it didn't
take him long to work his way to the head of the field. This time
he won by 6 seconds from Haslam, with Karl Harris (HM Plant Honda)
beating his team mate Kiyonari to take 3rd place. |
